I couldn't find any indication in any of those regarding Iodine's role in curing cancers, eliminating FBD or flushing bromides, removing moles, increasing mental acuity, flushing fluorides, restoring normal body temperature, etc., or removing HEAVY METALS such as mercury and lead from the body.

It looks as though folks previously thought of it as a poison, or as an essential trace element, which we now know to not be the case !!!!!!
