Re: Sprouting sunflower for greens!

Michael at hippocratesgreenhouse.com told me to grow them just like wheatgrass.Except for putting wieght on the greens so they thicken up.He has a tray full at the website that looks sweet. So you buy your seed from the sprout lady. She has very good seed but a bit pricey.I ordered a 35lb. bucket of mung bean sprouting seed from the handypantry.com.The price is right hopefully the germination ratio is in the high 90s.I got my alfalfa from wheatgra SSKI ts.com along with some mung bean that has done very well.I found another wholeseller of sprouting seed that sells by 55lb buckets. Now thats alot of seed,Ill try them in the future.I purchased my black oil sunflower seed from the sprouthouse along with sweet peas.
