Re: Sprouting Lentils!

i use the super hi tech sprouting method - mason jars! seriously, i just put some plastic mesh over the time, secured by a rubber band, and that works just fine for me.

as for broccoli they are great. it takes about 5 or 6 days for full sprouts, but yo ucan usually eat them after 4. the red cabbage sprouts look just like the broccoli sprouts, except after about day 4 they turn bright purple! just a beautifully colored sprout! you cant resist it.

radish sprouts are great, spicy, but i love em like that. great to add to other sprouts to jazz things up. altho i will eat a whole handful of just radish sprouts.

i get my seeds from this store, and have near 100% germination rate if i do it right.

i have some sunflower seeds, still in the hulls. i have been meaning to try to grow the greens but never have. are there directions somewhere? do you germinate them or just put them in soil?
