Re: Prednisone and albuterol

Archus, do you know that prednisone interferes with Iodine due to personal use, or did you read it somewhere that you can link to? I'm having a hard time finding anything that says anything about prednisone and Iodine together. I just started Iodine last week (3 drops/day) and I would hate to have to put this on hold for the week.

I told ER doc that all I wanted was inhaler, did not want to go back on other meds (allergy, etc) as I was on all of them at one point and quit all of them.

The thing I've linked my allergies to is dairy. I was remembering that last year at this time my allergies were next to nothing. And this year, nothing has changed, so why are they so bad this year? I'm drinking milk now. Have been since last August. So I know better, and have again given up my beloved milk. OH how I wish I could afford raw milk.

OhFor - thanks for sharing your personal experience with this. In my experience, I know that I will only need the inhaler for another week or two at best. My asthma only comes with my allergies or cold. And I know what I need to do to get rid of the allergies, they just hit me before I had a chance to "fix" things. So I will use the inhaler and work on the other stuff so maybe I won't have to use the inhaler ever again.
