Re: hemangioma of the liver (very large)

I just got back from the doctor's where he evaluated and gave me the results of my CT scan. He says that I have a hemangioma the size of a grapefruit in my liver and the size of a cantalope in my pelvic area. He said its probably been there for at least a decade. From what he told me and what you write it seems that this is going to be something I have to learn to live with!? Have you been told anything about shrinking it? I'm suppose to meet with a surgeon in a month or so, any thoughts, questions, or suggestions of how i should respond. Have you gone this route? Any knowledge you can pass on is appreciated.
