I have been diagnosed with liver hemangiomas - there are 2 of them and they are not that large. They were discovered when I was having an ultrasound of my kidney - to check my cyst that I've had for years. Tomorrow, I'm going for a liver scan and the week after that, I'm having a red blood cell scan. These tests are terrifying me - I don't know what to expect - I've never had a nuclear scan before. I don't have any pain and probably would never have known I had hemangiomas if they had just done the ultrasound on the kidneys alone.
