Are you serious? You're actually asking what you did wrong?
You basically told your son that he's going to hell and that God wouldn't love him if he quit pretending to be something he's not.

And what's your deal with the psychologist? More MORAL BELIEFS?? Are you kidding me? If you want him to see a preacher, make him see a preacher, not a therapist. Your therapist isn't going to lie to you. The human psyche and human tendencies are the same whether you AGREE OR NOT. A therapist that would tell you any different just because they didn't agree with the choice would be a HORRIBLE therapist and a waste of your money. You don't need to pay for therapy if you're just going to try to find a therapist who will try to make your son feel worse about himself rather than one who will guide him in becoming who he is meant to be.

In this case, yes, it was something you said. Grow up, don't tell your son you accept him if you really don't. If you dropped his therapist for accepting him, then can you honestly tell yourself that you really do accept him? What the hell happened to parenting these days?

YOUR TV AND THERAPIST DIDN'T TURN YOUR SON GAY. CHILDREN ARE A RESULT OF THE PARENTS. TAKE SOME OF THE BLAME FOR YOURSELF AND STOP TRYING TO PASS IT OFF AND REFUSE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN SON! THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HIM OR HIS CHOICES AND IF THERE IS, TAKE IT AS YOUR FAULT. Maybe if you feel guilty enough, you can start loving him again. Jesus Christ!!!
