After suffering from irregular cycles and all the horrible side-effects mentioned on this site following the removal of the Mirena 5 months ago, I just discovered this forum & am very relieved to know I'm not alone. You mentioned, however, several other women with whom you've spoken to "now being considered 'perimenopausal' at age 35" - has the perimenopause diagnosis been confirmed or are they just experiencing similar symptoms? I'm 36 and now wondering if I'm perimenopausal myself or if this agony I've been in is due to lingering side-effects from Mirena. I haven't had children yet, but am now concerned that the Mirena has potentially affected my chances of conceiving if I decide to do so...
