Hang in there. It gets better. I've had 2 Mirena's back to back. My 2nd one was only in 1 year and it dislodged.I only know it did because I suddenly had horrible blood clotting periods that laster for weeks. I was also extremely senstive, anxious and generally unbalanced. This has been going on for 2 months. I'm on my 3rd month now...no period yet, not feeling so unbalanced either. My effects may have been so long and extreme because I had the Mirena for like 6.5 years or so. I got the Mirena to be protected from getting pregnant without being subjected to so many hormones, because the pill made me depressed. Generally, I loved the IUD, had no problems til it was out. Now I'm skeptical of getting another one placed since the last came out on its own. Hang in there. Good Luck. Tweet
