Yes indeed, you are right. FDA starts to control Iodine.

However, how it COULD turn out is that Bromine will be banned. Iodine will start to appear in foods again (not just supplements). Flouride could be exposed. Perhaps the people at Harpo will call 20/20 or some such show.

It's a snowball effect, similar to the kind of movement that get things banned.
