That's the first time I ever heard anybody at all make such a strong connection between God and TRUTH. Summed up, The Creator and His Son and the Creator's spirit/character/qualities (spirit of HOLINESS) are all ONE (the Father/creator sent His Son and left His spirit for us), it's ALMOST SILLY that we make a distinction between the three manifestations of God (making the distinction is actually only academic). God is everything that is PERFECT. Jesus even says that He is TRUTH (John 14:6, but nobody listens) and The Father sums up Himself as LOVE. In other words, TRUTH INCARNATE hung on the cross (God in human form) and we should be holy by having the "heart of God" (His character attributes and qualities). The institutions of Christianity (it's more "philosophical" that there should be any, but they do serve a purpose,...the elementary doctrine of Christ, Hebrews 6:1) complicate this understanding by adding partisanship and status (like a "militant" seeks "hero" status and a scientist seeks fame for esoteric "knowledge"/INTERPRETATION).

The truth is simple, but simplicity doesn't satisfy the ego (which is why God had Pilate say to Jesus...I PARAPHRASE THIS, John 18:38...What does truth have to do with human nature?...of course, Jesus declined to answer, maybe Jesus didn't want to OFFEND us (it is kind of silly that we always have to complicate things).
