Do you find "out of context" troublesome?
Whenever someone has NO DEFENSE against what is said (they run up against a "brick wall"), they say "and don't start that [ whatever ]" because they simply don't have "a leg to stand on" in order to present an arguement AGAINST that (your weakness is showing, but so is your intention (AGAINST) to discredit everything I said, beej must be the only one thought to possess valid knowledge about anything.
I don't mind intelligent debate (in fact I prefer it), but when someone's only defense is to call what I say "crap", I find that rather pathetic and resent such cheap tactics being used against me. I fully recognize that not everyone will agree with me, I also recognize their right to do so and even encourage them to provide a different point of view in order that there can be "sharing of ideas"/debate, but I also appreciate them making actual INFORMATIVE (informational) "STATEMENTS" that are productive and define an issue.
I offer no apologies that I won't play your game and allow you to insult my intelligence (I should ask for an apology because I didn't GIVE YOU CRAP,...I could resent the thinly veiled accusation, but resentment and stress serve me no purpose and I expect an apology would be a strain on you).
By the way, simply supplying "text"/verses and then hoping the other person reacts with shame and guilt,...(lack of STATEMENTS in your defense) is very obvious to me that you really have nothing to believe in that makes sense to you (no intellectual or conscientious refuge).
