The reason you may feel that I take this personally is because I DO take "the truth" very personally...other than that, I know not of what you speak/mean.

I honestly don't think/recall editing anything out of my post; if I did, it was immediately after I posted it, quickly reviewed it and realized I'd made an error of some sort. Everything is still posted it as I remember typing it (as I view the post on my computer and my husbands). As is seen by looking through my past posts, I always include the word 'edit' in the title if/when I edit my posts. If I edited something out in those first few seconds/minutes and forgot to update the title, I am sorry for the oversight - because that's all it was. (No one ever need worry about me not taking responsibility for my own words; if my words are correct, I've helped someone to correct their misinformation; if my words are incorrect and someone proves me wrong, I am blessed by having the chance to 'detox' from the incorrect information and replace it with the truth...on ocassion my ego finds it a bit hard to accept, but I am rapdily learning to rejoice when my errors are brought to light :)

I stand by that statement 100%. Lugol's Solution is a simple blend of two chemicals and water...no more complex chemically (or dangerous) than many of the supplements we all take without even considering looking for a 'chemical grade' (as in potassium chloride, magnesium sulphate, etc). All are chemical blends made from laboratory chemicals, and I have never seen anyone on CZ comment nor worry about them. So to me, it is "anal" (as in obsessive, not as in 'butthole') to worry about it at the level many people are worrying about it. And it most certainly DOES scare people (I've had 7 emails in the last few hours from people who were truly frightened...but they've been scared for no logical reason). The reason they are stressed/anxious/frightened is because of other posters that either won't take the time to research the topic fully so they can solidify their knowledge and assure themselves & others of what is safe and what is not safe...or because they're holding on to misinformation. And yes, I will always find that reprehensible.

If you feel that's being rude, then to you it is being rude. To me it's simply calling 'em as they clearly can be seen. Some people consider that courageous, confident, self-assured...even a blessing. "Rude" is the lesser of the evils that I've dealt with on my pathways.

I believe very strongly in the biblical phrase: "To whom much is given, much is required". And I feel that applies to every person on CZ to whom others look to for advice and knowledge.

What would make me truly happy is that everyone on this planet realized they DO have the ability...and then relied upon themselves to find, analyze & discern the truth.

Wombat, I am sorry if my post offended you personally. Yet, I would have been amiss morally had I not posted it. When (if) I find myself caught between possibly offending someone and bluntly stating the truth (a truth that in this case will assist others to not be afraid, know & understand the truth AND provide them with enough information to confidently purchase and stash a quantity of Lugol's Solution before it is forever too late), then I will be loyal to what I feel is 'right' and my own sense of integrity.
