I'm really new to all of this, I'm just starting to turn around my life and get into a healthy way of living.

Consequently I'm abit behind on alot of jargon and to be honest too hot on science, so some of what you say is way over my head....sorry. I've got alot to learn and in the meantime I request you to make it simple as poss for me......(embarrassing)

Ok I understand that H2o2 seems the best bet for disinfecting salads etc here in India and I don't really wnat to take any chances.

I can't really get my hands on any colldial silver here at the moment, and distilled water seems a problem to get aswell.

So I went to the medical store here (in India, I live in a very remote part) to get some H2o2 and was abit put off. It was sold in a cheap flimsy plastic bottle, stating " ONLY FOR EXTERNAL USE" I got worried and never bought it. You see I was ill last year from Typhoid and Hepatitis E at the same time and took a real hammering, still not fully recovered, I was dubious about the water quality in the H2o2 very cheap bottle sold here.

Questions.

Is there any way that I can buy this cheap looking 3% H2o2 and sterilse it( I take it boiling is a no no)?

What does food grade H2o2 mean? I was told that it meant the regular kind as in 3% H2o2, but if food grade is not stated on the bottle does it mean that it is fit to be taken internally?

Should H2o2 be sold in dark glass bottles, (in the UK it is).

Is H2o2 safe to use on a longterm basis?

Someone uses Iodine here which seems alot more sterile and comes in a proper dark brown glass bottle, will Iodine kill all pathogens/ parasites etc? (She uses a few drops in a big bowl of water, and soaks all salads for 20 minutes).

Is Iodine safe to use on a longterm basis?
