Re: Ain't scared of Iodine, am scared of Niacin
Glaxony,
Meet Dr. Andrew Saul, PhD, who thinks that “If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. This especially includes your health care”. He’s very good at teaching people to do just that. He’s a big proponent of vitamins, especially vitamin C.

I find his site an excellent source of information, right up my alley! Doctor yourself! Enjoy both! (He does not mention
Iodine yet).
Scroll down and on the left side of your screen you’ll find lots of subjects, some of which you may find a fascinating read. There are 3 articles on Niacin.

You’re good, girl, taking 400mg of Niacin! I flushed like crazy at 100, persevered, got used to it, flushed less and less, subsequently increasing my dose, until I interrupted taking it, and chickened out altogether, knowing that I’d go through the flushing again. I took it for “its action in lowering high cholesterol levels [3] and in elevating high density lipoprotein cholesterol levels (HDL)”
Take care!
