Ain't scared of Iodine, am scared of Niacin

A friend of mine tells me I'm supposted to do a niacin flush daily until I top out and quit flushing. He topped out at 2500, and says it won't take as much for me because I only weigh 100 pounds.

Here you guys say to take 625 twice daily for a while, I forget how long this is sposed to happen. Anyways, this niacin trip scares the crap out of me for some reason.

Not the flush. I like to flush. But my liver always feels tender and hurts a little the next day.

It only takes 400 for me to flush. But lately it has been taking longer for the flush to finally happen. The other night, I took the niacin in the evening, and didn't experience a flush until the next morning. Or maybe it was a hot flash that woke me up, and I've topped out, need to increase the niacin. I don't know. But I'm scared to increase the niacin because my liver felt tender all day before yesterday.

I've only had a couple of periods in the last three years, no hot flashes until I began taking Iodine. Now I'm feel warm waves frequently. Are they hot flashes, or is it the minerals kicking in? Do non-menopausal people feel warm waves when they take iodine?

All I know is that my liver feels tender after taking enough niacin to flush, and that it scares me.

I've read you are not supposed to take niacin if you have liver problems, and they tell me I have Hep C. I don't know why warnings of caution about bloodroot, Wormwood and Iodine don't scare me at all, but niacin warnings scare the crap out of me.

I ordered some syrian rue. Maybe it can help me figure this out since nobody here likes me, everybody hates me, and I'm not gonna eat any more worms.

love you anyways

ps Another thing troubling me is that salt water doesn't flow through me when I drink it, like it is supposed to. I've tried adding a little more salt, a little less salt, drinking more of it and drinking less of it, but I always absorb most of it, and then urinate. First time I did a salt water flush years ago, all the water went straight through me. I could feel it gurgling moving through me and then boom, it hit bottom. But now that doesn't happen. I just have to pee and I'm pretty thirsty the next day

I also retain a lot of enema water lately. Maybe I'm super deficient in salt?
