I know for a fact my friend has not done any liver flushes, but I do believe he has done a basic colon cleanse.

I completely understand your post. My poor friend (actually my ex-boss) began to suffer from this in 2001. He was on suicide watch for about 6 months, so his problem was very severe.

I truly believe that all of this came about after 3 courses of Accutane in a one year period. He ended up with every single side effect listed on their literature. The really stupid thing is that he did not have really terrible skin! That drug should be taken off the market immediately. I am furious that my friend suffered so for a "vanity" cure by an MD.

He has worked very hard trying to bring himself out of the hole, and I certainly would be the last person to speak to him about ND's. In some ways that kept him from comitting suicide, and he is functioning well enough now to go back to work part time. My heart aches when I talk to him because I love him.

That certainly has not stopped me from sending him tons of info I glean from CZ. I do so almost on a bi-weekly basis. OP, and Oxypowder , CS, and a host of other things I find interesting. He actually has asked his doctor about the liver flush, but it was decided that he was still a bit weak to try this.

He has come down a very long road. I'm just glad he's still around to share a laugh with.
