Please don't be so dang gloom and doom. Grin. Figuring this out and putting a stop to premature parasitical devourment (is that a word?) is interesting/intriguing if you like a challenge, and people wouldn't be here if they didn't, they'd let the doctors torture them to death instead of trying to get rid of them.
Tell us about your battle with parasites. What kind did you have? How long ago did you get sick? How sick were you? How long did you fight them? What were your symptoms? What did/do you use to get rid of them? How often do you do routine maintenence? Etc Etc.
Of course we shall overcome.
parasites don't even have brains, or if they do, they are tiny little computor brains that are programmed to do nothing more than eat, poop and reproduce. They just mutate more quickly than we do because their life span is so much shorter. I wish there was some way to stop them from laying eggs, delay, lengthen, or interrupt their reproductive cycle, without messing with my hormones too.
The vet gave me some flea medicine to put in my dogs water that was essentially a birth control hormone or something. It stopped the fleas. If it works on dogs, why not
parasites in/on humans? This seems to be along the lines of Shrooms investigation. Wonder what would happen if men took birth control, to eliminate parasitic infection? It's probably not a good idea because xeno estrogens in the environment are already shrinking male genitalia and reducing the sperm count...
Perhaps the reason they seem so daunting and undefeatable is because we are complex and multi-faceted and they only have one function. If we were as focused on getting rid of them, as they are on taking over our bodies, we could probably be free of them in no time. But we have to eat, mingle with society, earn a living, etc etc, which makes it hard to follow a regimen and purify the body, or avoid reinfection.
You are a whole lot smarter than parasites. Your brain is capable of infinitely more creative survival strategies. I have faith in you. Do not let the diveristy of the
parasite kingdom overwhelm you. Choose one little critter at a time, study it, and figure out what makes it tick, then you will be able to eradicate it and move on to another one. You can do it. I know you can.
Bodies decay when they die. There seems to be self-destruct mechanisms in cells that become activated upon death, which start the decaying process, or something. That does not mean eradicating parasitic infection of the living is futile. It just means that
parasites must have some way of activating the self-destruct mechanism in our cells while we are still alive, so they can thrive in the decaying matter. At least that's my uneducated pseudo-scientific hypothesis.
And they have no right to do so, I might add. They are not supposed to hop on living people and kill them. They are suppose to wait until we are dead, and then clean up the mess. They apparently think we are walking around dead, like zombies, and maybe they are right in some cases, or all. Ha. Some folks think that parasites can't infect the living. If we were fully "awake" or "enlightened" we wouldn't have them.
Cherokee medicine men say that modern medicine neglects to restore harmony and they way to restore harmony is with ceremony. They will have you drum and chant for twelve hours and pray over you when they give you medicine. They also say that God has created the perfect medicine for every affliction known to man or animal, and those medicines are in the plants and herbs, which are often considered poisonous if consumed in large quantities. Greed is another factor that is preventing modern medicine from being as effective as it could be. Synthesizing molecules so medicines can be patented, is what causes problems. The plants have natural buffers and enhancing enzymatic qualities that are missing when medicine is manufactured in a test tube.
This ain't no hospice. Pessimism is forbidden and forgiven.
