I was an egg donor a while back. I had to shoot myself up with lots of hormones and at the end of the process, I had to go to the doctor every day so my eggs could get "measured." One day I was lying there waiting for them to measure the eggs and talking to the Ultrasound tech. I asked where all of these drugs came from. He said, "Have you ever heard of a nun with AIDS?"

Apparently there is a convent in Italy where nuns' urine is collected for use in these fertility related drugs!

I was assured before my twins were induced that Pitocin is now made synthetically. Just like pregnant mares + Premarin, pig oxytocin used to = Pitocin.

I know I have slept with a lot of swine, but.... :)
