This was just one class of Human anatomy at a university. There were overweight cadavers as well as one with the colostomy bag and feeding tube still in (he was really sick). I didn't notice any hard impaction in any of the colons that I picked up and actually touched. There was some soft stool in transient as they were still alive and then it never moved out when they died and bodily functions ceased.
