Re: Cadaver didn't have impaction in his bowel...
Is your opinion based upon one observation? How do you know the cadaver (when alive) never colon or bowel cleansed, did enemas or have a
colonic at some point?
Lets say someone has bowel issues of one sort or another... for me, it was chronic constipation.
Clean or not, a bowel or
Colon Cleanse can be beneficial, IF done correctly in that it can be used to exercise, strengthen and retrain the bowel so that it can once again establish a healthy working cycle and eliminate waste as it was intended.
In addition, I think many have malabsorption issues and the lower intestines may be more problematic (and could lead to colon issues) than the colon for some. In this case one would want to take care to use
Bowel Cleanses and a
healthy Diet to reestablish better absorption.
I also believe that cleaning out our intestinal systems can have a positive affect in reducing the overall body burden, including environmental pollution of all kinds;
food additives , pharmaceuticals, etc.
Are there people who do not need this who do it? most likely. Are there people who abuse it and end up causing more problems for themselves? I am sure there are. However, for the responsible self treating individual with a little patience and care, a condition, like chronic constipation can be dealt with and "cured" with bowel cleansing and dietary change.
Now, are there scams out there? yes. Are some methods grossly over priced and taking advantage of people? yes. That is where this support forum comes in by offering real bang for the buck alternatives that work, albeit some better than others under different circumstances. It is up to the individual to assess their needs and make a decision based upon those needs... I could not do psyllium at all. Made my problem worse even drinking gallons of water.
There is one thing other than poor dietary habits, alcohol, cigarettes, pharmaceuticals, OTC medications, etc. that causes irritable bowel, chronic constipation and other bowel problems to develop over time. Do you know what it is?
In today's society, people "hold it". Very bad. When one does this, they train the bowel to "hold it". When you have to go, excuse yourself, get up, break away, what ever and go, urination, bowel movement, whatever, get it out. If everyone would do this, many problems would be prevented and colon cleansing or colon retraining would be needed less frequently.
