agreed... keep in mind though that the kelp does have other components that bind with mercury that could cause the mercury to pass through rather than be absorbed as they have found in fish.

That said, if the fish or kelp itself has more mercury than binding counterparts, there is a problem. Get the cleanest source possible... we are rapidly running out...
