This is going to hurt like hell, but here goes: This was me....over 20 yrs ago.

My injuries did not leave me with a 2-inch piece of my skull missing, but it may as well have. The injuries were so severe that I had mindboggling, crippling, incapacitating migraines ever since. To this day only they discovered migraine meds in the early 90's, I believe. (The meds, oddly enough, have come close to killing me when the migraines didn't. I refused to kill myself only because I adored my two children so much and because I was/am a Christian.)

This woman sounds like she has the severest of injuries and may be left as crippled as I essentially was. She NEEDS MEDICAL, LEGAL AND SPIRITUAL counseling IMMEDIATELY.

Isn't it ashamed we can't prevent women from killing themselves?

Because that is what she is doing by going back. I did not have any family like she does. I wish I had a huge, great big brother with the decency to have found my batterer and beat the living shit out of him but I didn't. I had NO ONE. He has deceived me into letting him into my life but she still has hope.

My batterer doesn't dare touch me. Won't lay a cowardly hand on me ever again. Unless he is prepared to kill me and bury the body.

He knows I will call the police so fast his head will spin. And so he keeps even the verbal abuse to a minimum because HE KNOWS I AM SO ONTO HIM.

It is amazing the results when you just bust them. They are ALL COWARDS. So ya deal with it.

This girl's family needs to sit her down ala INTERVENTION. "But I lllllllllove him." I said those very words. Makes me want to puke. Tweet
