Re: Every so there's so often there's another skeptic

Can't really argue with you Annie, although I do strongly believe there is still opportunity for we the people to utilize peaceful ways to rid ourselves of our fraudulent system of government/military/media/industrial complex and the thousands of criminals that comprise it. If it comes to it, then it comes to it and yes, you are right, right to bear arms has squat to do with hunting game and everything to do with the founders providing one lat measure of insurance and protection to stand between them the people and them the tyrannical government.

Looks like you know your way around the Constitution. Yes, it does provide redress in the form of a clause actually called Redress - the right to petition the government for grievances that also empowers the people to rid themselves of their government if and when the people determine that is necessary..... novel concept, eh? There is a teency problem with the people availing themselves to this and other significant clauses in the Constitution. Actually there are a few problems. One, it seems that there are not many people, if any people, that can remember a time, conservatively speaking, in the last century or so, where they can point to to look for a role model and say "aHA, that era, those people, they knew how how it worked, becasuse they did it". I don't know of anyone in the past century that can say this clause has ever been tried by the people. This leads to the next problem. When their is a tool available to be used, but that tools is left unused for a century or two, whether it be capabiliities and skills that were once inherently present in people at birth or inherent in the supreme law of their land, eventually the knowledge of how to use such a tool becomes lost to time, so now we end up with the masses walking around not even being aware or knowing such a tool ever existed in the first place. People's capacity for thinking on their own is sort of going this same route and the TV and media and Hollywood and government and educational insitutions are doing all they can to promote extinction of people's capacity to think on their own.

Actually, during the past couple years there has been some people, generally known as We The People Congress, who have been trying very hard to make use of the Right To Redress clause. Don't expect to be informed of this news by the monopoly media although there were a few glimpses that snuck out here and there. For the most part, the media blackout on such real news has remained near air tight. Nonetheless, WTP have been making some progress working this issue throght he courts. Yeah, you might have guess it, the government is so averse to the people taking it to task that the people had to seek redress through the courts, jokes that they are. WTP has filed suit against USA Inc AKA the federal government. Just one of the tricky aspects of using the courts against the government is the fact that the courts and the DoJ are part of the government. Lets try to overlook that significant bit of conflict-of-interest for now. When I last checked for the recent updates to this, it seems the government is tryign to rely on the position that through subsequent legislation, they created this fiction known as "immunity" in an effort to make people working in and for the governmnet immune to law suits..... pretty clever, eh?
