It's called being in denial. Do you know why high blood pressure is called the silent killer. A person can have it yet feel fine for a long time. The same is true for diabetes. It can be damaging your kidneys and you don't even realize it. Encouraging people to live with their head in the sand is irresponsible. Why do they avoid the doctor because the smarter side of them knows that real doctors tell people the truth not what they want to hear.
