Re: PLEASE HEAR ME!!!

Hello,

I need to clear up a misunderstanding. When I referred to the importance of food as it relates to eczema, I was referring to the importance of eating a healthy Diet filled with the foods needed to restore immune health. I was not referring to food allergens. If your focus is solely on food allergens as the cause of your son's eczema, then you are probably missing the main culprit of your son's eczema irritation. Food allergens are not the only cause of an eczema reaction.

In your son's case, I believe that his reaction was probably due to skin contact with chlorine or fluoride in the water at the ski resort or residence you visited in Canada. In addition, and if you stayed in a hotel, the soap that the hotel provided for cleaning the face/body could also be the culprit. In addition to that, stress could also be playing a major role in your son's recent flareup. I believe that the initial reaction could have been instigated by any one or all of these factors; but that the continued suffering after he returned from Canada was due to the medications prescribed to treat him. I believe that if you had not introduced the medications, his skin would have probably continued the healing process to completion, as it did when he was an infant. The medications actually stopped the healing process and promoted the continued suffering. When your son's skin manifested the eczema reaction, it was the beginning stages of the healing process; whereby the skin/immune system was attempting to fight off and rid itself of the toxins affecting it.

Do you understand that food allergens aren't the only reasons or culprits for an eczema flareup?

Do you understand that stress, medications, harsh soaps/detergents, chlorine & fluoride in treated water, amalgam/metal dental fillings, Antibiotics , dust mites, pet dander, pollen, wool/synthetic fiber, cigarette smoke, paint, and household cleansers are all culprits of eczema irritation?

Do you understand the importance of eating foods (fruits & vegetables) that contain beta carotene and fiber to boost the immune health? You've been placing a lot of focus on what foods he shouldn't eat; however, equal importance needs to be placed on what foods he should be eating to boost his immune health.

Beta carotene is an immune booster. Here is a list of some of the foods that contain beta carotene: dark green leafy vegetables (like kale, collard, and spinach), brocolli, romaine & green lettuce, squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, and pink grapefruit, pumpkin, & canteloupe. Does your son eat any of these foods?

I noticed that in the list of food allergens for your son, you listed fresh vegetables as an allergen. Are you telling me that your son is allergic to every vegetable that exists? If that is the case, who conducted the test and was every vegetable tested? Something doesn't make sense to me regarding that point. I need clarification from you on that. Vegetables are essential to the restoration of your son's immune health; as a result, you can understand my concern.

When the allergy testing was done on your son, was your son on symptom suppressing medications? If these tests were conducted while his immune system was being synthetically suppressed, then he would show an allergen to just about everything since his immune system was being shut down by the medications. See, you have to take all this into consideration when you are conducting allergy tests. This is one of the main reasons I don't like those tests.

You stated that your son was taking Soy Protein powder with milk. My middle niece had a severe allergic reaction to soy. Have you considered soy as a possible culprit. Was he taking the soy powder before you went on the trip to Canada? Did he start the soy powder at the end of last year, when he turned 18?

I've written you a lot of questions in this message; therefore, you may need to print a copy of this message to ensure that you don't miss a question. The main point that I want you to understand regarding this message is that food allergens aren't the only eczema culprit. In determining an individuals allergen/irritants, the best detective is the human body itself, not allergy tests. I have found that those people who solely focus on allergy testing to determine the eczema cause, miss what is right in front of them. The body will tell you what it is allergic to with the manifestation of an eczema reaction.
