The medications that your son has been recommended will further instigate his eczema suffering simply because they suppress the symptoms, they don't heal. This is why the symptoms get worse after the medications. Although your doctor recommended taking him off of the prednisone, he's further instigating the problem with equally harmful drugs. The Antibiotics increase candida growth (a yeast like parasite), which promotes eczema irritation. With the use of the Antibiotics , you are risking a total body eczema flareup. In addition, read the side effects that the medications your doctor prescribed contain.

He's going to come up with some questions that you haven't asked and have insight on some things that you may have missed. He's 18 and feeling hopeless and out of control. Because you love him, you want to do this for him; however, he needs to have more of an active role, (first hand knowledge, not second hand information), in the process.
