RIP, Haley.

Dear Donna,

I'm so sorry to hear that your puppy, Haley, has passed on.

In a very real sense, I think the
spirit of Haley -- the soul which
lived within her doggy form --
sacrificed herself for your children. It took her death to alert
you to the very real danger that
lurked within the so-called "harmless" rat poison. If Haley hadn't eaten the poison and died,
one of your younger children might
have, somehow, consumed some of the
poison, with the same awful result.

Haley loved and cared for your family. She gave up her life so that
all of you could continue to live.
Say a heartfelt prayer of thanks to
her spirit tonight, for giving you
the supreme gift of Love.
