Your experience with the lime water is something to consider. What is good for one person, may not be so for another. That is my main issue with taking macro minerals outside of food without testing, especially calcium. Trace minerals are different cause we know we are not getting enough from our food.

Testing of tissue mineral levels is not that great yet. A hair test is the most popular way. Blood test results can change within a short amount of time, so they are not so reliable either. That is why I think many practitioners resort to muscle testing which is less than accurate to say the least.

At this point, I just test things out on myself and use my intuition as best as possible.
