we only go between the islands here so we have never had to build BIG boats and have used little boats to pull along to carry back supplies we get from other islands..

I can start gathering the vines of the trees and coconuts for weaving
rope,
perhaps you could scout out a good tree?

I have good gourds for storing fresh water in.
and we can sun dry the fruit of this island
to take along as food,
if the journey proves long...

do people of the countries you speak of like necklaces? and earrings?
maybe i should get my beads together to take as barter should we need?

i find these in the rocks near the waterfall,
then wash them clean and heat them soft,
so i can draw a fish bone through to make a bead from them..

they are so pretty ,
shine like the sun they do.

do you think we could buy stuff with them?
they are such trinkets i know , so common among my people..
