Where in the bible does Jesus say to eat whatever? Just curious as to the actual reference. I am aware of Peter's dream, and that "all things are clean," but that was all because of one group saying the other group was outside of salvation because of what they ate. The point was that salvation of the soul didn't have anything to do with what we ate. Salvation came through Christ alone, and there were no works, not what we ate, nothing. It had nothing to do with the food we put in our physical bodies. So the "that doesn't matter" had to do with the soul, and the salvation Christ provides.
