Re: How to Reconcile with Dastardly Deeds Done in a Past Life?
Perhaps that is why we cannot remember our past lives because the burden is simply too great to address past deeds as well as to live our current lives.
Remember, that each of us chooses our path and our lessons and that all of the people you killed had agreed to this, either so that they could know what being murdered was like or to help you to experience being the murderer. (Old souls will move forward faster with this type of choice of being a victim.) If you step back and watch your lives without emotion, they are as a movie; actors playing their part. It is my understanding that God is neutral and we are here experiencing emotion for him.
Events are neutral; it is our perception of them which gives them emotion. If someone drops a glass of water on you, you could decide that the SOB had it in for you and get angry, or you could realize that it was an accident and it was only water and there is no harm done. A simple event among many in our daily lives. We attach the emotion to the event; so, step back.
It is my understanding that karma is simply an action/reaction event. Each time that we do anything, there is a reaction; it is simple physics. However, if the pattern is not recognized and broken, then it will continue, with the consequences becoming greater until we recognize the pattern and then break it and move to the next lesson.
I had thought that the recognition of particular events which are related to physical illness would go a long way to evaporate that illness. It does not sound like that for you. But, in addition to your current life, you are taking on the guilt for the past life; this is the trauma. You, in your current part, cannot do anything about the past lifetimes; you can simply recognize a pattern which, if it is being repeated in this lifetime, you may be able to break. You played your part and all of the souls who were involved have moved on to play other parts.
You are the only person whose forgiveness will make a difference to you; you are the one in pain. The others lived their parts out of love for you to allow you that experience; you played your part. The play is finished. Now that you know what you did, do not take on the guilt of another lifetime; release it, learning the lesson involved. If you cannot forgive yourself, then I believe that you can ask for Grace which will release you of this worry.
As a glorious soul, you are on a journey back to the Godhead. Just as you may have gotten into some hijinks as a youngster growing up, recognize that your past lives are events on your growth journey, not needing a revisiting but a recognition of what they were -- experiences which you were to have for your growth. If you were going backward, then stop and go forward by taking that information and using it for good in this lifetime. God waits for you to make this decision -- without judgment.
The very fact that you have consulted a channeler, etc., indicates that you are ready to tackle your distress and resolve it in this lifetime. May you be successful!! :)
