You make excellent points. I was starting to refer to that in my previous post. If a person is going to passionately believe either pro-life or pro-choice, they can't just scream it from the roof tops - they have to get off their duffs and do something. Laws need to be changed and programs put into place to help single and abandoned mothers. There is always a surplus of money when it suits the government agenda's ! It is time that some big bucks be put into educating and providing for these women in need.

I also agree with you about this statement:

"Another thing - if a woman is widowed, she gets a pension from the Gov. and nobody minds. It isn't called welfare. But, if a woman is abandoned or treated so badly she has no choice but to leave, she's just hung out to dry, and treated badly by the society that she is supposed to raise these kids to support when they get old."

It's got to start being referred to as a "hand-up" not a "hand-out"
