Re: Infantile Eczema .... Is it curable by medicines?

Hi,
I don't think I have a magic cure for you, but I have a 3 year old with eczema and I have been mixing Olive leaf extract with Burt's Bees Baby Bee butermilk Lotion. I use extract that is Alcohol-free (it is made by Gaia herbs and I got it at Whole Foods Market).
My son was having whole-body-flareups and he was itchy and crying all the time. The rash went away completely within 3 days. (I have also been giving him Olive Leaf extract internally, about one capsule mixed a few drops at a time throughout the day).
BUT, I know he is not cured because I forgot to put the lotion on him once and the rash came right back.
We have not been able to determine the allergen responsible. We are military and he did not have any of these problems before we moved here to Rhode Island four months ago. Fortunately, we are moving in two months and I am hoping he won't have this anymore.
Good Luck,
Tina.
