Re: Infantile Eczema .... Is it curable by medicines?

Hi Aunty,
Many thanks for sharing your experience. Your response has been a great hope for us.

I do understand that there is something in our son's food or in the environment surrounding him. And, for last three months we have been trying to find out that culprit. However, all our efforts in vain, till now.

We stopped giving him meat, egg, banana, bakery products, cow milk .... and the list goes on. But till now we failed to understand which one among these caused the flare ups.

The only success we had is with soap and woolen garments. We are now pretty sure that these two worsen the condition. But, stopping them has not cured him. It just, prevents further damage.

I still believe there is something which is causing this. But successive failures have made me realize, probably what we are lacking is a systematic approach towards finding this. I am sure your wisdom can be a great help for us. We are waiting for the questions you need to know.

About keeping the baby clean, we have a big challenge. For last three four months, he has developed a great dislike for water. It seems whenever the affected skin area comes in touch with water, it starts itching.

Awaiting your response.

Thanks very much.
