Thank you for responding and for the info. I hadn't even given thought to the medcation. There is one med that I must take and another that was just prescribed that I could possibly do without. I would be willing to give up the must-take medicine if I could afford to see a homeopath and get regular blood work done to make sure that I'm in no danger throughout the process without it. Perhaps I'll look for information online about anyone who has tried a juice fast while remaining on this particular med...

I will also keep in mind what you said regarding raw foods or a macrobiotic diet. My diet is currently about 50% raw foods. The other 50% could stand *a lot* of improvement.

Regardless of which path I end up choosing, I will be choosing a path to better health. I simply must do it. I'll continue to investigate the opitons to get there. Juice fasting still holds a lot of appeal to me. This website, thankfully, has a wealth of information and so many helpful members, like yourself.
