Thank you for answering that for me. After reading all of the different posts, it is hard to determine where one needs to begin.
Yes, this will be my first fast. I am excited to begin it, not only for the weight loss benefits, but to feel truly healthy again. I also am hoping that by doing this, it will make quiting smoking alot easier for me. I am so ready for a different way of life, because obviously what I have been doing thus far is no good! (Proofs in the fact that I have anything with an "ut", butt, gut...you name it!)
Are there any words of advice you can give someone who has never done this before? I have read that it is best to do a raw food diet for about a week to get your body ready for the fast. Is this all raw fruits and vegetables? (Some, I would be afraid to eat raw)
