I know. Don't beat yourself up, be kind to yourself. Take things at a pace that you feel comfortable with, but definitely try to do at least something where you exercise your will to follow thru with something that your mind thinks is right for you. Your emotions want to dominate right now, so when you exercise your will you gain some power and fire the booster rockets to propel you to the next place!

Once you get some momentum going, it's amazing how the emotions just fall in line. Our emotions are not always a friend to us! They don't always tell the truth, either!!! The word picture I get when I consider this is taking off on a sled from the top of a big hill.......wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Our emotions can take us for a ride. And to a destination we might not to arrive at, sometimes.

Think of it as "exercising" your will. You gain more muscle each time you REASON with your mind and then WILL to do something that you know is right. It gets easier then...little by little.

You are grieving, however, and that is NORMAL. Whenever we have sex with someone, we become ONE with them. Soul ties develop and they keep us emotionally chained to that person. Ask God to help you break the soul ties with this man that are not in line with His will for you. It can help - because there is a spiritual cable connecting you two and it's not healthy for you to keep attached if he is running off in a new direction (with someone else).

At the same time, whatever is God's will is not beyond His power to fix. But (as I said in the last post) it's generally not accomplished without some revelation on the part of the other person that they are really ALONE or truly going to lose you.

The name of that book, now that I think of it, was, "Love Must Be Tough". You might check out the reviews on Amazon.com and see what other people have experienced. I can't remember if I actually read it or not, or just heard a review on it. It was written a LONG time ago.

No matter what, you sound like you want good things--a family, loving husband, etc. I pray that God will give you the desires of your heart in a way that is beyond your imagination beautiful.
