Re: More issues than I know what to do with...need advice

My friend continues to need some more advice here and I really just don't know what to do considering I'm his best friend. Here goes anyways.....she was the one that tried the "wacky tobaccy" out west....

Yesterday he recieved a phone call from her and everything went well. However, at the beginning of the phone call she immediately started the conversation about where she stayed at last night (in a hotel with her best friend, another girl and two guy friends) and explained to him that she shared a bed with one of the guys there. The reason was her best friend had a big crush on the guy and had a bad experience with him and totally didn't want to sleep with her--that's why she slept in the other bed. On the phone he explained to me that he acted like he didn't care, which was the best way. He even joked with her about how to "tell that other guy I'm so jealous". Off the phone though he absolutely went through the roof about this and wants to totally dump her as he told me. I explained to him that she was being honest with you and she herself said nothing happened. I think that's a great sign that she even decided to tell him.......

However, just yesterday they went to a staff party before they flew back home today (Saturday). He received an email from her at the party saying how much she loves him--how she's so excited to come visit him in less than a week now. It was a big party and anyways, I got an email from my other best friend who as the party last night and tells me firsthand she was the biggest flirt at the party. She was arm in arm with this one guy for most of the night anyways, not to mention she was very drunk. The only thing that was positive he did tell me though was at the end of the night she spurned this one guy's advances, told him she had a boyfriend she loved and went to her hotel room with the rest of her friends.
