Oh ok, Whew! (wipes brow) I see what you mean. :) Yes, it is impossible for the coconut oil to have caused a fatty liver, and it actually lowers the bad cholesterol. I was just giving him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't wasn't very well informed on coconut oil and it's benefits--and that something else would have caused such reactions. One other thing I did forget to mention, this is still done occasionally and that is hydrogenate coconut oil--which anything hydrogenated is super toxic and could actually have had those effects which he mentioned. Depending on how long ago he did this it would have been easier to get a hold of hydrogenated coconut oil. Sad but true...why would they ruin such a wonderful oil??
