blueskyz

Blueskyz, no problem. I think the spirulina idea might be helpful for me, for weight training protein. I will be checking into that more.

But for what it's worth, the cheese thing is hard (and ice cream). As a gourmet, I consider it one of the culinary delights. I've been no dairy for what will be a year in november (I had a temporary planned lapse when I visited home for 3 weeks but it was just a moderate indulgence) and I am 100% glad about it. I absolutely loved dairy products. The good news is, it gets easier after a while, especially when you no longer "consider" getting it. Once your mind automatically rules out anything dairy and you realize how dairy makes you feel and how good you feel not eating it, it's uphill from there.
I can parallel that to when I was young I loved soft drinks. I went cold turkey one new year's eve, to water only, and since then, although I drink some tea and juice, I am revolted by soft drinks and would never consider drinking one. Once I sipped my brother's cup of coke by accident and I spat it out immediately! It's a change of mentality that takes time.

Not that I'm saying you'll come to hate cheese, just that it get easier to not desire it constantly. Just enjoy it on Thanksgiving every year or something like that, and keep it "buried" the rest of the year. :-)
