Your amino acid suggestion is great. I'll check that out. Under the thread "minimizing weight loss," Rowan and I had a humorous exchange yesterday about whey and mucus. The Jarrow's I'm using isn't mucus producing, but some other great info came out of the whole thing. And I'd add your amino acid suggestion to the "great new info" list as a result of the initial topic.
In any case, I've realized more and more - confirmed by the excellent educational info in your post - that I will have to have a formal funeral for my cheese passions, as the only one I don't like is processed american - ironically enough because it wasn't "healthy" LOL - as I understood it, anyway - never mind the PUS issue - ICK.
