Re: Day 8 After a Rough Night
Thank you hopinso, this thread has been most inspiring!
You helped us all think about the emotional attachments to food (for comfort, friendship, loneliness, validation, boredom etc..) and most importantly we've remember the spiritual nature of this cleanse. Spiritual quests require some renunciations. Meditation requires silence and stillness (giving up noise and movement). Fasting is giving up something we thought we couldn't live without. Realizing that we can live without something helps us see that our true nature is not just the physical body (the digesting machine) but rather as spirit and pure emotions such as love and joy.
I agree with blueskyz that we are dropping a lot of old emotional habits and that is good for the soul. I would add that there is a karmic cleansing going on. Bad Karma is being burnt off by the
Master-Cleanse so that we won't have to experience it in another way which could take lifetimes!!! You hopinso are going very deep this time because of your recent several protocols and your resolve. It is very inspiring to watch. Thank you.
