i am well aware that the technology to create a mark of the beast scenario is being slowly put in place day by day, bit by bit, so slowly you might not even be aware.

when i was a kid the charismatic christian movement was rife with reports and suspicions of the mark, what it would be, how it could happen, etc.

what puzzles me is that now that the technology actually exists, and is slowly being put into place, the "christian leadership" in this country is completely silent. i find that odd. all these "mega churches" and no one is talking about a very obvious fulfillment of a prophecy and how it might affect us all. times are a changin i guess.

then again the charismatic churches that i grew up attending were grassroots, local controlled, these mega churches are corporate churches and are swimming in money and affluence. they are invested in the status quo.
