Now there is a christian view that makes sense - God willed the little people and they lived at the same time as our species, due to conditions there they developed differently. I'd say that proves evolution , whether or not God was involved.But its not the way it went.

They were just like us way back, and then they changed and we changed too at the same time in different places. I'd say that proves evolution. And thats the way it is.

Its interesting that so many island species of people are short. They suggest that is because there were no predators... islands are more finite and they could kill all the predators, and being human beings they would do just that. Or no predators ever got a foothold there.
So wouldn't it be great? Island life, lay around and eat bananas and mangos, have some lizard or seafood. Build fires, make pottery, forget the weapons.
And no fighting, no violence? without predators, no need to be aggressive, it might become inherant. Some will say thats why they died out - no killer instinct. Could be, I would still like that to be possible though - that people could survive without violence - sometime on earth.
Maybe they were far advanced, and just got wiped out by storms. With spare time and relaxed conditions, they could have done lots of art and science. Or mental developments, psychic and that sort of thing. We can never know. Or can we?
They might be able to harvest DNA! Then bring them back by cloning. Thats a crazy thing, like timelines being all mixed together and our own evolution threatened if they ever bred amongst us.
