Re: Is Mystery Babylon Spiritual or Physical?
I not going to try to answer your concerning Mystery Babylon. Ill just say that its true of Gods abundant love for us. John3:16 reads "God so love the world that he gave His only begotton Son so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
You may also take comfort in Matthews 24:1-14 "1) ...Take heed that no one deceives you.... 6) And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. SEE THAT YOU ARE NOT TROUBLED.
On the issue of salvation:
Romans 3:23 "for we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 5:12 "Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned." (sin entered man by disobedience of Adam and Eve)
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 10:9-13 "9) that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and BELIEVE in you heartthat God has raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. 10) For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11) For the scipture says "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." 12) For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13) For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
I honestly believe that confronts the issue on salvation. If we confess Jesus with our mouth and believe in our hearts, then salvation awaits us. Im sorry but for the ones that reject Jesus and says that He wasnt raised from the dead...Need i say it?
Just ask yourself. The bible says that the wages of sin is DEATH. But the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ. Now if a person reject Jesus Christ, how are they going to recieve Gods gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ.
I hope that help you with some of your thoughts. Take care, God bless you.
