You are stupid, follow the doctor's advice...

Stupid for going to that doctor and putting up with his pettiness. Take his advice and find another doctor...

I had the same experience with my first pediatrician...he was a friend of my wife's family, and they were horrified that I did not blindly take his advice on vaccinations...the only advice I took from him was to find another doctor...

We did and couldn't be happier....

While I finally caved in and got the vaccinations, it was when my children were much older, as I didn't want to fight the school system also...

But the dosage of the vaccine is the same whether the child is 10 pounds and 6 months as it is when they are 4 years old and 40 pounds. While it is poison just the same, at least the proportion of poison is smaller.

Find a new doctor...you will be much happier...
