Yes i believe there is a way to utilize this info. But i now feel that dreams are very important for us and use a symbolic language that we somehow use spiritually but may not know in our waking life when and where. Like when we overcome or survive something we never could have years ago possibly because of these symbolic answers or help we are given in previous dreams. Now the part about my friend and her vision problem has me thinking because I do have a diagnosed eye disease and my right eye is losing vision more rapidly. I also got the feel that I was accepted back into this "Spirit School after a long absence as I had memories of past experiences and recognized others once I got there.
