You are right, what his book did for me was really realized how bad processed foods are, he even was the first I read to suggest that coffee should be eliminated from the diet. As far as fats go, I believe plant fats are what the body is after, not animal, but that is a whole other debate. Many people go too far on that diet.
My concern is that I'm not sure the body can really digest meat, and I want to get rid of mucoid plaque and clean out my intestines, I'm not sure that can be done unless one is on a vegan diet. (I'm not trying to be argumentative, it's just what I think about)
