Once again Atkins did not die from a heart attack or from ill health whatsoever! He slipped on the ice and cracked his head ! he died from massive head injuries which had absolutely nothing to do with his health! Atkins had a pre existing heart condition, a congenital condition, that means he has had the condition from birth! Atkins new he had heart problems and a weight Problem and this is the reason he persued the low carb diet in the first place !He was a cardiologists who dealt with wieght and heart condition in the manor being used by all allopathic medicine at the time which he considered very inefficiently using diet pills and drugs etc. Atkins has been under attack by the medical establishment and the food processing industry since he first became popular! The AMA tried to have his physicians license revoked in the 70's for his beliefs and had to defend his theories in front of congress who ultimatly sided with Atkins against the AMA! He has been under attack and conspired against by the am. diabetis ass. the Am dieticians ass. by the Am. heart ass. the Amer. cancer ass. the Sugar lobbies the American wheat councel and anyone who has anterest in keeping the stasis quo Atkins was 72 ! He woke everymorning a t 6 am and walked to work putting full days at his office! Just before his death he announced he was going to take on the American Diabetis Ass. for not do a better job a helping those who suffer with this debilatating desease! That does not sound like a sick man to me! Grog
